I was messing around with my Google account settings and saw that Blogger.com was listed under my services. Clicking through, I saw a blog that I completely forgot about “All Glory To The Hypnotoad“, our first attempt at keeping track of our lives. It only lasted about 3 months from September to November 2007 before we completely flaked out on it. A year later we converted Pettitopia.com from a photo gallery into what it is today and picked up from there. Finding this was such a treat, just like opening a time capsule. I have recreated the 12 posts below to preserve them:

When I was first putting the site together, Katie and I decided not to post email addresses because we didn’t want the junk mail clogging our accounts. Besides, if you are browsing our site, chances are you already know how to get a hold of us one way or another. Turns out there both friends and family have been asking around for our email addresses so we decided to throw up a quick contact form. Nothing too special, just a 4-field form that will reach us once you fill it out. After it is sent, one of us will get back to you shortly. No promises on time… just ‘shortly’. So it’s Friday night, our date night… and we are on the sofa. No deep conversations or constructive projects.. just creating a Blog about our nerdy existence. We ended up watching “Love Stinks”, a guys version of a chick flick. Katie liked it… I REALLY liked it as it puts all men’s fear of marriage in one tall blonde package. During “Blades of Glory”, I showed her Jacob and Tak’s Blog… and here we are. I made her promise to tell everyone it was her idea, but in reality, it was mine. So sue me.
Tomorrow, we have a mess of errands. VW dealership in TO, Lowes/Home Depot, Sit-n-Sleep (“where your mattress is freeeeeee!”) for a new mattress. Oh, the mattress… Katie’s sags to the middle and we end up head-butting all night. Thank jebus she is down to get a new one.

All Glory To The Hypnotoad!
The unstoppable freight train from Hell, Katie, and the sparkle lusty ice tornado, Josh, met at an underground Vietnamese Russian-Roulette tournament, sealing their fates. Apart they were lost souls, together they are an ass-kicking force to be reckoned with… or they are just mildly retarded and have vivid imaginations.
